Sublimation vs Stitching: Which Printing Method Fits Your Team Kit?

The printing method decides how your kit looks on match day and how long it survives the wash cycle. Here is how the main options compare.

Sublimation printing

Ink becomes part of the fabric itself. The pattern never peels, cracks or fades, and there is no limit on colors or gradients. Best for jerseys with full-color designs.

Stitching & embroidery

Raised, premium look for crests and small logos. Ideal on polos and jackets, less practical for full-jersey patterns.

Screen printing

Cost-effective for single-color designs on large quantities, but each color needs a separate screen.

Heat transfer / vinyl

Great for player names and numbers on demand orders, with a wide choice of finishes.

Most team jerseys combine methods: sublimated body + stitched crest + heat-transfer numbers. Tell us your requirements and we will recommend the right mix.
